Dog attacking another dog?

My roomates have a few dogs. The main dog I am talking about is a grand champion pitty. He attacked one of her dogs, another uncut male. A few weeks later, he attacked another of her dogs. this time a female, which resulted in her death. This week he jumped on the puppy, also an uncut male, usually these 2 get along great. As a matter of fact they were both hanging out all day long together, and then all of a sudden the champion just grabbed the puppy up. Why does my iBUYPOWER keyboard randomly type the same key like 15 times when I click it once?

There is a "turbo" key that nothing on the internet really talks about. I'll type a key and it will come up several times. For example (tttttttttttttttttttttttttttt) from just one pressing of key. Also sometimes it will seem to "lock" up and not type anything. This correlates with the Num key light going off for a second or two. Please help!

Why is one of my bettas more active than another?

I have 2 bettas in a 5 gal tank with a divider. My dark colored betta swims around a lot more and my light colored betta is more laid back and won't swim around a lot. I'm 17 and I lift 5 days a week and work a different body part each day. (Mon-chest, Tue- back, Wed- bis/tris, Thurs- shoulders, Fri- legs) For the most part I get in 12 sets total for each body part. So my question is.....is 12 sets enough for significant muscle growth? Has anyone tried (successfully) to grow root ginger from root ginger?

I had a small piece of root ginger that was beginning to sprout, so after soaking it overnight, put it in a small pot of compost. I kept this on my sunny kitchen window sill and gave it all the TLC that I could think of. That was about three months ago - I now have a lovely looking plant, very green and healthy, but as the roots were beginning to poke through the bottom of the pot, decided to re-pot it. I was full of anticipation as to what I might find under the soil ............ and was very sad just to find a load of thread-like roots - no resemblance to root ginger??!! Am I being impatient, does root ginger only form from a plant the size of a tree??! Any advice would be much appreciated!

6 months old is a crazy age for many cats and it can take a while for them to settle down. I would try buying some Feliway plugins and seeing if that helps calm Ninja a little, and clip his nails if you aren't doing that already. Another idea would be feeding him his favorite food when the baby is in the room (safely in your arms of course) so that he forms a positive ociation with the baby's presence. Really though, if he attacks her every chance he gets then he should not be given the chance. They need to be kept separate except when you are holding the baby or the baby is otherwise out of his reach.

How should i set up my drum kit?

Ok so i'm a newb when it comes to drumming. But i've been practicing and getting better. Now I'm not exactly sure if I have it set up right. I'm sure many different ways are right, but I want it to be setup the standard way. I'm lefthanded so i have the drums setup with the snare to my right with the high hat right of it. the floor tom to the left of me, and the toms setup with the smaller on the right. Now i think thats right, but as for the cymbals i have a 10inch splash, 20inch Ride, 16inch crash, and an 18inch crash ride. My problem is i'm not exactly sure how i should be setting them up. I don't have preference where they go. And i also have an 18 inch china, and a man made 14inch china that i don't know what to do with. 305 chevy no start?

Hi, me and a friend change the camshaft, carb, intake manifold, timing chain and the lifters on a 77 305 engine. While changing these parts we made sure we had the timing correct. the dots on the timing were facing each other, the piston was up on #1 plug and distributor facing #1 plug and of course the spark plug wires were in the right order. The problem is the engine wont start. Also we found two broken pushrods after the we heard a sound and replaced them. We have gas, spark, replaced spark plugs. the engine does not respond when the distributor is moved while cranking the engine. Any thoughts are appreciated

Noise when defroster is on!?!?!?

When I turn on my defroster there is a annoying noise coming from inside the dash. It is intermittent, now as time has gone by, its louder and you can hear it from the outside of the truck. Does anybody have a clue what it may be??

I made a mistake and bough cheap laminante flooring. Can't I wax it so that the tiny cracks are filled?

Are they cracks, seams in the flooring, or texture of the flooring itself? There should be no cracks where the flooring goes together evcept for a V seam. If there are bigger cracks, then the flooring is defective, or was installed incorrectly. Wax may not adhere, or may make the floor too slick to be safe. Dirt will travel to the V seams as a matter odf course, but will vacuum up just fine.

What did you feel like when you first used a sunbed?

I just had my first session there in a vertical sunbed and when I went into the cubicle I felt like I was in some sort of experiment, like one the germans would do in WWII :P The time ped incredibly quickly and within the space of 1-2 minutes my skin went blotchy red all over my face but the rest of me was okay :S I have aftersun now in case the 6 minutes I was in was too much for me. How to make a dog, dog friendly?

Recently I have adopted almost 4 year old Maremma (family dog from puppy age & not flock guardian as some of them are, also she haven't been socialize much with other dogs by her previous owner). She is friendly with kids, adults etc.... But every time I taker her for a walk to the park I have to make sure there are no other dogs there. She is not what I would call a dog friendly. If the dog run to her I have to hold her while they do sniffing part, but then she might attack it or get a bit aggressive. Two people came to my home to solicit lawn care service. I hired the cheapest service provider (SP). The SP I did not hire came by and was very upset and accused me of gender discrimination. If you are looking for a drugstore brand, Essence of Beauty from CVS makes really good brushes. I use one for my blush, but all else I use Bare Minerals. Steps on how to seal a basement wall crack?

Try to make the back side of the crack wider than the exposed side to hold better. Make a ball of hydraulic cement and dampen the crack. Push the cement into the crack to fill within a 1/2" of the surface. Let it cure. Use more cement to flush out the surface. Then you can paint or whatever you want to do.

don't worry about counter space...it's a washing machine....feet need to be level...then it shouldn't virbrate...if there are clothes in it, and clothes aren't even in the machine (more on one side), then that could easily make it vibrate.

What to do when the friend's gotta go?

So I have this friend. (Funny way to start out) And I feel we've really growing apart. I feel I've matured and she hasn't. She's always complaining to me about boys, her life, her other friends and situations and we rarily ever talk about me or what's going on with me, I get the feeling she basically doesn't care. I just think we shouldn't be friends anymore, because really, I don't feel its even much of a friendship. New coworker is a lazy beyotch! Can this make trouble for my job stability?

OK, last week I took a new job at this one company, basically working in an office. The dept. I work in hired me and this other woman to do the order processing and shipping. Her and I get along perfect so there's no problem there. you can use gelatin in many different recipes. Sometimes people just flavor the gelatin with like juice (jello). But gelatin needs time and heat to activate. So you want to heat it to about (i think) 120 degrees F. Don't quote me on that. But then when it hits 80 degrees it starts to solidify. You can make no bake cheesecakes, custards(non-traditional of course), or of course like jello salads. Theres really no rules on where you can't use gelatin. Hope this helps

So I am almost 20 years old and I have been dating this girl of almost 19 for a little over 6 months. I am happy with our relationship. The is great. We make eachother laugh. Is "The Last Unicorn" an allegory for reincarnation and the Christ/Buddha figure?

For instance, the Prince Lir tries to win through great deeds the girl, and is told that perhaps her love can not be won by great works. This correlates closely to religious arguments of faith vs. works. Another interesting scene was the skeleton monkey, which seemed to represent a disincarnate soul trying to satisfy its fleshly animalistic desires for wine and the magician turns water into wine, which reminded me of the water and wine story of Jesus. The unhappy king and his kingdom and the fact that the girl unicorn can only enter in disguised as a human, though the unhappy king recognizes who she really is and comes to her often to try and ensnare her, is in many ways similar to the coming of the Christ/Buddha figure in flesh in the kingdom of death and enslavement through which all souls must transcend. The unicorn is nearly pushed into the waves, but overcomes, indicating the unicorns victory over its human nature, though indicating at the end its partial identification and higher understanding through it. I wonder if anyone or any website has picked up on any of these interpretation in the movie or book, "The Last Unicorn." ???

Can Prozac be abused to suppress appetite?

No, I am not interested in using it as such. I am just concerned about my neice; she has been diagnosed with an eating disorder and severe depression. Her psychiatrist perscribed her Prozac for her depression, thinking that it would help her feel better and even alleviate the severity of her eating disorder. But I am concerned that she may instead abuse it and try to use it to suppress her appetite to lose weight, even though she is already thin. I have heard of kids using prescription drugs for this reason. So I was wondering if Prozac can be used for suppressing appetite? Woah, did my prof. read my mind?

I came by during her office hours and she acted rude; impatient and annoyed. As she was looking down and writing something on a notecard for me I glanced at her and thought "she's ugly". campoli will only be hot as long as berard is injured. On who to drop and pick up all depends on if your league counts penalty minutes, +/- , shots on goal. If its points scoring, the weights of each category. It also depends on your strengths on your team if its head to head. On my team i have enough goals and ists but not enough PIM or shots on goal. In general though i would drop Campoli(horrible +/-, and will cool down in a few weeks when berard comes back) and Jones(who will have as bad +/- as last year when the flyers get back to their normal selves and he doesnt get very many penalty minutes(except for his incident) and you are taking a gamble on his scoring.) My husband was going around with another woman for a long time behind my back (since early last year) and carried on lying to me and seeing her even after I caught him. Last night he told me he's taking 3 colleagues out to dinner as a farewell treat for one of them who's leaving. How can I convince my parents to let me buy a new lawnmower?

He doesnt smoke and he has stopped drinking (only 1 btl of beer occionally) although there was a time that he was really into heavy hard drinking. As long as you are exercising and you eat fairly well, you have nothing to worry about. You are in the process of "growing into" your body. I live in the state of Texas and the school involuntarily searched my son’s backpack and took out a tape recorder. According to the school policy located in the student handbook involuntary searches can only be conducted with the consent of the student or the parent if there Is reason to believe there are weapons or drugs. I was never notified of the search. The school is keeping the recorder because I believe it has incriminating evidence against my son’s teacher. My son has made claims of her being verbally and physically abusive. I have made complaints to the school about her behavior since Feb. There have also been students removed from her cl and my son states that all of these students where the one’s she use to yell at or be physically abusive toward. Today she allegedly accidently hit my son in the head with a chair. No report was made. I believe whatever happened is on that tape.

If this 'distresses' you in any way, I suggest you gather friends who think the same and write to the legislators in your state, or get an initiative on the ballot to get secured loads made mandatory, and putting the 'fault' on those whose loads are not secure. Beware, because there are many who drive pick-up trucks who think they should be 'free' from these laws ... but peoples' lives are in danger when ALL loads are not secured properly.

2004 Dodge Dakota 3.7 V6 Engine Rattle?

My 04 Dakota developed a serious rattle sound under the hood today. I am not very mechanical, but when I looked under the hood, it seemed the hub of the fan seemed to wobble when the noise happened. There was also some brown water like fluid that seemed to be flung around inside the engine compartment. It was not oil, too thin, the transmission fluid levels were good, brake fluid was good, and it did not smell of gasoline. The truck seems to be running fine other than this noise and the CEL light did come on, but I don't have the code. Any idea what the problem could be before I spend a fortune at the mechanics for diagnostics?

There is a toilet in my house that is broken so we don't use it. My little brother left a little "present" in that toilet MONTHS ago and we discovered it recently. The whole toilet is filled with brown toilet paper and there is poop in there somewhere. My mom bought latex gloves and wooden kitchen utensils to clean it out. I had 3 rabbits until yesterday. A albino male lop earred, beautiful 31/2 mnth old. He was injected against myxostotis 2 wks ago and yesterday was running around full of beans. It wawsn't until the evening that i checked one of the rabbits teeth and went to get the other one and found him in his cage reeking of poo and wee. He wasn't like that before and he was cold. He was covered in poo by his backside, so i washed him, placed fresh bedding and put him back in. Sunday morning at 2am he was dead. The other rabbit i've got survived myxmototis again after receiving injections. Is there a link between the two. Should i mention it to the vet or change over to a new one. My 4yr old rabbit is fine and healthy, so how come he never caught it. I'm baffled and fed up!

What would help with building some thigh muscle?

Mmkay, so. I'm 5 ft., and I only weigh 95 lbs. Definitely not by choice. My upper body (from waist to face), I'm totally happy with, but when it comes to my thighs, I'm totally embarred. I'm sooo skinny, and I absolutely hate it. So, I'd like to build thigh muscle. I have calf muscle, and I almost look disproportionate. So, I was wondering how I might be able to effectively build thigh muscle, so I at least don't look as scrawny. :)

But, w/ the increasing competition due to more kids going to college and the recent budget cuts made by UCs, they're starting to become partial to people who are more unique and can prove that they can make a difference in their futures. You can't just be a straight A generic student who does nothing but study and do extra curricular activites for the sake of getting into a good college only won't stand out as much as someone who is looking to cure cancer or make androids and the like. And this is the current state of things NOW. Imagine how much more competitive it's going to become in the next 3 years. Make yourself stand out if you want to get into Berkley or Davis

Non-Healing Wound on Leg for Almost 17 Months?

I have had a non-healing wound on my left lower leg. It is around 10 cm long and 4 cm wide. It started out by getting stitches in my leg. The incision became infected and I had around 7 surgeries to get rid of the infection. I then was left with a wound vac covering the wound. I had a 3 skin grafts to try to heal the wound and when the plastic surgeon performed the skin grafts he cut out my suture marks so that it would be one "pretty" scar without surrounding suture scars. All three seperate grafts failed leaving me with a bigger open wound. I have gone to SEVERAL doctors including a wound specialist, which I see once a week, a dermatologist, a infectious disease doctor and many more. I have had 3 PICC lines and 1 central line so that I could have IV therapy. No one is able to figure out why my wound will not heal. I am a healthy 20 year old female who has ALWAYS been active and athletic. Does anyone have any ideas? I am sooo sick of CONTINUOUSLY hurting. My pain ranges from a 6 to 10 on the pain scale. I have been referred to a pain management doctor because the pain medication I have been taking all this time does not work as well anymore. Which leads me to also ask what do I expect at a pain management doctor? Thank you!

(add some good soil.. ) then lay sod.. water with sprinkler system... done!! if you have prepped you soil, there is no need to do anything but water.. do not lift the sod up to water.. just make sure you are giving the sod enough water until the rain takes over.. it is suggested 2 mowing's before you put your new lawn through hard play.. It can be confusing if you read too many websites.. but you really don't need all the amendments.. just a good soil base.. and yes home depot still sell sod.. so does the bulk dirt , rock company's..(landscaping co) check around for the best price..
