Why is one of my bettas more active than another?

I have 2 bettas in a 5 gal tank with a divider. My dark colored betta swims around a lot more and my light colored betta is more laid back and won't swim around a lot. Is there something wrong with my light colored betta because he only really swims when he notices my other and flares at him... thanks
