Gay men and women, and substitute children?

OMG...me and my partner have two shi-tzu dogs that we actually refer to as "the children" We call the vets office, "The Pediatrician's office" and I refer to Dave as "Daddy" to the dogs, and he tells them that "mother" is going to walk them or whatever. Sure we do. (I used to bristle up every time he would start the "mother" thing, but I got used to it.) LOL
