If a woman attacks a man with such force that she is breaking lamps over his head, heading, biting, .....

scratching that is drawing blood, does the man have the right to hit back one time to get her to stop? Or is he considered an abuser? I'm not talking about him beating her senseless, I'm talking about a single hit just to get her to stop.
