Does anybody know which game this is?

I remember this game I used to play a long time ago so I couldn't rember many details about it or the name of the game. I do remember that you could join a faction like hive or wolves (not the name of the faction but the people look like wolves). Or you could be an outlaw but you couldn't do much in faction-owned systems because the planets had guns on them that people built and they would blow up you ship almost instantly. And I remember that people could get on you ship and take jobs like commander, gunner engineer. Also the entire map was a grid and you clicked to move from place to place.
