Chid support woes...?

My ex-husband walked out when I was pregnant with #2. The girls are now 12 and 8, and he hasn't seen them in about 6 years. He seldom pays child support so he's just accruing arrears, and he has now elevated to the "criminal" level in Ohio (over 8K) in arrears. Child support says a warrant was issued for his arrest and he didn't show in court, but the prosecutor isn't doing anything to pick him up. What can I do to help speed things along?
